I am trying to select the last thing in a colum how do I do so?

The concepts of last and first are based upon the fact that you have a way to sort the data. Do you have a distinct column that you can refer to? (An Auto increment field for example)

Then provided your result set looks like this:

Distinct Column ||| Data Column

SELECT [Data Column] From table where [Distinct Column] = (SELECT MAX([Distinct Column]) from Table)
