Sigh; do you want this resolved immediately? Or do you want to keep on posting the same type of questions and answers without providing *relevant information about your setup*? Your call.

It can't be the same as the page I provided, as that article presents many different options. ASP versus ASP.NET, XP versus Server 2003, In process versus out of process, anonymous versus integrated security etc etc etc.

There's a section about determining the right account, with even a link to another FAQ that explains this in much more detail. Only when you know the correct do you know what what and how to configure it.

So, do yourself a favor; read both FAQs again, determine what account you need to deal with, and then come back here and provide *useful* information. Otherwise, I cannot help you.

BTW: LKI\IUSR_PSF-95J565R66X doesn't look correct as it isn't in a MachineName\IUSR_MachineName format. But, that might not be relevant if IUSR isn't used at all....

Did you read the FAQ I linked to completely? Did you read my last post?

What about "In process versus out of process, anonymous versus integrated security etc etc etc."? The FAQ explains how to determine all of this.

What conclusions did you draw from the two FAQs? E.g. which account do you think you are using? And what is LKI\IUSR_PSF-95J565R66X for an account? Local or a domain account? Like I said, it doesn't look like a normal anonymous account.

How about providing info like machine name, whether you are using a domain or not, how it's called etc etc.

Again, the FAQ explains in great detail what you should do. It helps you determine the account you need to configure. Find that out, and then come back here, together with the rest of the info.

First time after I have read all of them, I choose IUSR_MachineName.But now I think that i should choose The account I specified. Then my machince name is Law.
1.)How to say that local or domain account? But I think is I didn't use domain. Is that got any more information I need to provide?

2.)how to check that my site is running Out of Process or not? What means for the "my site"?Is it my server or my computer's IIS version 5.1?

3.)I did not know how to do at the Figure 3: The Home Directory tab of the Default Web site Properties dialog for next step.As my previous ones, I just check all the information that you give me are match. Then I just click ok and
go to change the security of folder part.Am I correct for that?

Thank you very much.

Hi there,

1.) How to say that local or domain account?
Open up the properties for your computer (right-click My Computer on the desktop and choose Properties). You should see information about your machine, and its name and whether it's part of a domain.

2.) How to check that my site is running Out of Process or not?
Please read the FAQ again. It's really all in there. Step 5 says:
Quote:
quote:Finally you have to check whether your site is running Out of Process. To do so, close the Authentication Methods dialog, and switch to the Home Directory tab on the Default Web Site Properties dialog:
I really really really can't make it any easier than this.

3.) I did not know how to do at the Figure 3: The Home Directory tab of the Default Web site Properties dialog for next step.
I have no idea what you are saying. Don't you have the tab? Don't you know how to get there in the first place? Don't you know how to switch tabs?
I am lost; I don't think I can help you anymore with the feedback and information you provide....
