   I want to retrive the computer name (Server Name), in ASP Code
to make the s/w as dynamic.

Is any functions or components or objects in ASP.

Pls give some idea.

You can get the server name by following:
request.servervariables("SERVER_NAME")

But this will give the internet address only. If you use it at microsoft site, you will get www.microsoft.com.

I don't think this will give the machine name of the server. But why do you want to get the machine name ?

You got to use WMI for achieving that within your network/domain.

Can you explain little more on what you are trying to achieve?
