I want to find my website users country from his IP address.
i find some components like IP2location ,CountryHawk but thay all are not freeware components.i dont want to use them.

What tech. behind this and how can i manage it?
Please give me some idea.

What I'm actually looking for is how to do a web interface with an IP database behind it. I've started something but I'm having trouble trying to get it to display correctly. I'm also doing this in ASP not PHP.
