Try downloading this file, maybe the activeX viewer is not installed or some dll's are corrupted on your machine activeXviewer.cab, it is present at the following location on the system(note I use cr9 for cr10 the path may be a little different but it should still be under the crystal decisions folder)
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.0\crystalreportviewers\ActiveXViewer
Unzip this file and install the instcow.exe

also you may want to refer the article at http://support.businessobjects.com/l...s/c2004405.asp

cr10 :
c:\program files\common files\crystal decisions\2.5.\crystalreportviewer10

in directory above, i just found 2 files : crviewer.dep & crviewer.dll
should i have more than 2 files in that directory ??
then i try to search activeXviewer.cab, i dont get any of this file ... is this the problem ?
either any of this file :
• SwebRS.dll
• SViewHLP.dll
• ReportParameterDialog.dll
• CSelexpt.ocx
• XQViewer.dll

i cant find it, in my computer.

the article u gave at http://support.businessobjects.com/l...s/c2004405.asp, it doesnt work for me, not solve the problem.

btw, when i try to execute ... i am not prompted to download and install the ActiveX viewer

first, i Open the Internet Information Services console by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Services Manager, and make some changes according to the article above. But when i try to execute the report again, error : " HTTP 403.1 Forbidden : Execute Access Forbidden IIS"

where can i get instcow.exe ?

i wait for ur reply..thanks

koecrit

Change the browser setting back to the original. It is not the problem of browser, your reply ppoints to the fact that the activeXviewer is not properly installled/configured on your development machine/ server.
You might want to reinstall crystal again!! I donot know if this will help, but it is worth giving a shot.
Did you have a previous version of Crystal on the machine you are working on?

I'm having a similar problem. All my report viewer files seem to be in the right places. However when I try to view the beginhere sample, I get an error Invalid ProgID, on the line:

Set session("oApp") = Server.CreateObject("CrystalRuntime.Application.10 ")

Not sure what to do to get it to recognize the viewer? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

to ros :
i've already reinstall crystal report 10 on my machine, but i get the same result "i dont get any data displayed, just white blank display monitor" :( do u have other suggestion 4 me ?

to vbjohn :
i've downloaded cr10rdcmergemodules.zip, what should i do with it ?
i run crystal report in ASP not visual basic...is it the same condition ?
what i've read in those document/KnowledgeBase, that files such as crystalreport10_rdc_runtime.msm etc, must be included in our application (visual basic project file), what should i do if i want 2 execute crystal report in ASP no VB ?

2 all,...
thanks 4 replies, i really apreciate that
