Default CDO/CDONTS: Receiving mail delivery confirmation

Hi everyone.

I am curious if there is a way to check whether or not email message sent using CDO/CDONTS API has been successfully delivered to SMTP-server of the original Receiver (or Receivers).

I've rummaged through http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...laboration.asp and found nothing useful. Tried browsing RFC 2821 ("Simple Mail Transfer Protocol") to make sure if there is feedback upon successfull delivery is anticipated, but reading RFC was time-consuming so I've quit doing that. Then I've searched the contents of this forum, and again found nothing useful.

Any suggestions?

I am using ASP, IIS 5.0, Win2k
