Query a database with my mobile phone(GSM)

I am working on an application and i can query my database by inserting a combination of numbers in the textbox and having my search result displayed.

I want to be able to use a GSM mobile phone to query the same database, sending the same combination to a number and getting the query sent back to the mobile phone in form of SMS.

Help me with directions and resources.
