Hi everyone,

I need to reset the IIS through an ASP page, but it doesn't work. I am using
Server.CreateObject("WSCript.Shell").Run "cmd.exe /c iisreset /restart"

then I am calling the same page by
server.transfer "http://sfindiase10/TrackWeb/TrackWeb.asp"

but this does not work..
I do not want to reboot my machine I just want to reset IIS on my machine.

Pls can anyone help

mmmmm thats an interesting one, why would you want to do this. If this is even possible, when iis stops doesnt your web site stop, kills your session, etc...

Plus what about other web sites running of the same IIS node/site, they wont be to happy. Very intrigued as to why you would want to do this
