hello everyone.

I m trying to use blob for storing the images and other documents.

My first doubt is : Can blob be used to store pdf or word document or its only used for images.?

My second doubt is how to use it? if anyone can help me thru code or snippet pl.

Any help would be appreciated.

BLOB == Binary Large Object

It is a datatype that can store up to 4GB of data (in Oracle anyway)

Komila, yes you can use it to store those documents.

You will need to convert the document to a Byte Array and store that array in the database.
