Hi there,

What have you tried so far? Didn't that work? Did you get an error?Have you looked at Request.QueryString("FieldName") in combination with ASP output tags: <%= %> ?

Is this the exact code you are using for a classic ASP page? Then you should get all kinds of errors. The "labels" you use in front of the query string are not valid statements, and should thus result in errors.

It would be useful if you also posted your error message. Instead of searching for the problem, we could then see what the actual problem is....

Try this instead:

<%= Request.QueryString("Sno") %>

Hope this helps,

Imar

SrNo and custom are name of input text fields
code is:

<% dim varno,varSsno
varSsno =request.querystring("Ssno")
varno=request.querystring("no")
SrNo.value=varSsno
custom.value=varno
%>

Right. And did you try this out? Does it work *Do you get an error* ??

What makes you think that the.Value property can be used?

Are you sure you are working in classic ASP?

I'll ask it one more time: Please provide more information, and please *post an error message* when you have one. Playing hide and seek will cost the both of us too much time.....
