Default Exporting data to PDF file using ASP

Hello,

I have some reports displayed which is secure. I can export this to excel file, but this can be edited by the user. Hence need to export it to a pdf file where the user cannot edit it after downloading (except the case wherein the user is got a pdf writer installed. But it would be a rare case in my organization).

Is it possible to export data in to a PDF file using ASP. If yes how?
Looking forward for a help from someone.

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

Did you consider a Google search for something like "export asp pdf" (the three keywords of this post)? After all, this is a *pro asp* forum where some self-help is to be expected.

Try it out, and you'll find many articles about third party COM components that let you convert server side HTML to a PDF file.

Hope this helps,

Imar
