Word - Merge print/save

A current system uses Javascript (Ajax) merge routines, was wondering if there are classic ASP implementations of it.. a quick google search yielded a lot of asp.Net solutions, no classic ones yet.

Merge print/save, - merging with existing word document template with variables. Anyone?
