Default SMTP and POP3 for local

i coded a page which is capacble of sending email to a account created in my system(localhost win 2k IIS server).it is just like yahoo.
My question is I want to download all my mails in to Outlook Express or any mail client.What will be the SMTP and POP3 address.Can any one help me in this issue

Win2k has an SMTP server built in, but not a pop server. Does your local system have POP server? Unless you actually have a pop server you won't be able to get mail. If you do have one on your machine, you should be able to just create a new account in your email program and tell it that the email server is "localhost".

Hi thnx for the information.I downloaded the pop3 server and tried.Its working as I expected.Once again thnx for the information you gave.
