Default msxml3.dll error '800c0008'

Hi all,

I have this error: msxml3.dll error '800c0008', fail to download, in my aplication ASP.

The code I use is:

Set xml = Server.CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")

xml.Open "POST", "(server)", False xml.setRequestHeader "Content-Type", "text/xml"
xml.setRequestHeader "SOAPAction", ""
xml.send strEnv

This run in windows 2000 server, with SP 4. In another machine with W2003, this works. Any body can help me?

Hello a.verta,
If ur suing Visual Studio.NET 2005 then u may use Windows Server2003 with SP1&SP2. U may repair ur VS. Coz the DLL prob is in Dynamic Link Library Problem. It's a suggesition frm a beginner P2P member.

U may mail me: riyad4400@yahoo.com

All the best.

Utilize Server.CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP") instead.

(Source: http://www.net24.co.nz/kb/display/we...MSXML2.XMLHTTP)

It worked perfectly. I had this error a couple of times before and I've seen several solutions, but that one seems to be the right one.
