Default Unbound Field Made Simple?

How do I assign a string value "Hello world" to an Unbound Field Field1 at runtime using a blank Crystal Report with just 1 field in the details section. WinForm VB.NET. Thanks.

Create a formula, assign it the value of "Hello World" and place that formula into the report.
