Hi Madhavi,
Could you please mail me that how did u get the data in arabic in crystal report 9. i mean, that what all steps did u take to acheive this thing? 'coz i m facing the same problem, i have data in farsi in the database, but i m not able to display that in crystal report 9.

Hi there:
Its not a big deal!
After setting ur database in Report & adding the fields into it,
choose the fonts that have arabic style, such as Tahoma.
It should be ok then.

hi melvik,
i have tried with tahoma font also,,its not working,we hav a farsi database which consists of farsi values and when i try to show those values in Crystal reports,,i am getting reverse question marks,,plz can u brief me,,how to go wit this problem

Hi madhavi,
I have the problem with Crystal report 10 to show the Arabic data. could u plz give me the details of the method what u applied to over come this problem.
i am using Crystal report 10 and database as Cache 5.0 (which can support the Arabic version)and VB as front end. i am able to insert and retrieve the arabic data between VB and Cache

because currently the data store in the unix dabase is in arabic. but once show in the crystal report it's giv the "funny wording" and i dont know what is that font or format it is.
1. i have try to unregister and register again for the registry.
2. change the region and lanuage to the arabic.
3. change the font to simplified arabic in the crystal report.
so i really hope you can provide me a details solution to solve this problem. thanks a lot for your help and your help is vry much aprreciated.

i m runing in vb6 and the arabic data can be displayed in grids box
in vb6.just cant display in crytal report

hav to try to change the langague and region in control panel and set the matche language version to non-unincode = kuwait arabic
