Default Can Crystal Reports query across databases?

Hi Sorry for the newbie question.

I need a program that can query across multiple databases and give me reporting.

My company has multiple databases (Oracle, SQL, Access, linked spreadsheets, etc.)

We need to send the same query to all the databases with a single query tool and then get back merged and joined results. We have individual software tools to query each database separately, but that takes too much time and is impossible for us to get meaningful cross database reporting results. We which fields we need to join across each of the databases to create "metafields" - ie we know which column in each different database corresponds to "address" or "phone number" or "state"

I know Crystal Reports can query a single database and deliver back reports. But can it do cross database searches with a single query? If not, what can?

Sorry for the newbie question.

Default

Oracle and SQL Server, create linked servers within SQL Server. Then you can query all data sources.

for spreadsheets and access , import them into SQL Server with DTS, then you can use them for reporting.
