Default Section formatting

Hi Guys

I am a newbie to Crystal reports. I am using Crystal Reports 10.

I have created a small report in which I have two detail sections. I created two because, depending upon the user input, I hide one of the sections. My problem is when both the sections are present, the second section starts in a new page, even though there is lot of space available after the first section. (First one is a small section, which uses around 1/3 of the page and the second section is a large one with 1.5 pages) I have unselected new page after and before and selected another option about keeping them together in the Section formatting Options.

Anybody had any idea how to keep both the sections on same page? I am exporting the report to PDF, so I need both the sections to appear on the same page)

Thanks alot
Chandra

Hi there,
You have to unselect the option "Keep Together" for the both "Details a" and "Details b" sections as well as for the Parent section "Details".
