Default Accesing data from dot net

I want to access records from a database with millions of record and 7 tables. What's the best way to access records? If I use regular query with join it's repeating the same record.

Hi,
You can store the result of the query to a temporary table and you can query the table for distinct records. Then u can create a procedure and call the procedure from .NET.

Have you tried with Inner/Outer join.

I go to report, right click and select add remove database..go to command (dobule click) and paste this query...

SELECT Claims.PaidDate, Claims.MMIS, Claims.MILEAGE, Claims.CCANBR, Claims.MODEL, Claims.APVTOW,
Claims.APVCORE, Claims.APVOUT, Claims.MISC,Claims.ATADESNOSPACE, Claims.FCODE,
Claims.SNBR, Claims.RecieveDate, Claims.WarrantyEffectiveDate, Claims.ProductionDate,
Claims.CCATYPE, Claims.FCODE, Claims.FailDate, Claims.PARTS, Claims.LABOR, Claims.TOTAL,
tLBRHR360.acthours, tLBRHR360.laborrate, VendorInfo.VendorName,
VendorInfo.VendorNum, ClaimTypeCodes.[Description],
Claims.FPARTNOSPACE, InventoryList.PartNumber
FROM claims
INNER JOIN tLBRHR360 ON Claims.CCANBR=tLBRHR360.CCANBR
INNER JOIN InventoryList ON Claims.FPARTNOSPACE=InventoryList.PartNumber
INNER JOIN VendorInfo ON InventoryList.PrimaryVendor=VendorInfo.VendorNum
INNER JOIN CLAIMTYPECODES ON ClaimTypeCodes.[CCA Type]=Claims.CCAType

IT'S REPEATING MULTIPLE ROW WHEN I RUN FROM SQL QUERY ANALYZER. IT RETURNS MILLIONS OF RECORD. WHEN I TRY TO RUN FROM ASP.NET CR IT GIVES ME SERVER BUSY ERROR. WHEN I PUT A WHERE CLAUSE TO THE ABOVE QUERY IT WORKS BUT TAKES LONG TIME AND I WANT THE USER TO SELECT ANY RECORD FROM DATABASE..I DONT WANT TO PUT WHERE CLAUSE. WHATS THE BEST WAY TO WORK AROUND THIS SITUATIOIN.
