Default Parameter

How do I pass parameters to report? When I pass parameter it's not prompting for parameters. It gives me error (parameter field not found).

You need to drag and drop your parameter field onto your report (doesn't matter where) then if you don't want it to show on your report just suppress it using Format Field.
It should then ask for the parameter when you refresh.

what r u using to retrive info?! is it a SP?!
Normally when u insert SP in Report it insert the params & prompt it. But I saw Crystal Report in VS.NET is not doing it, so I have to use Crystal Report 9.2v to solve this bug.

Keep in touch.

I did that (drag and drop) still its not prompting. Here's what I am trying to do. I am trying to access million of record from 7 different tables. Just with a single query it's returing same record multiple times and give server busy erroy (out of memory). what's the best way to acces this type of records?

any idea or any book you recommend which has all type of example of using (dataset with multiple tables, SP,subreport etc)
