Hi there,

I am creating a CR report that displays order info broken down by the week.

All works nice, and I get info like this:

10/03/2004
====================================
04/10/2004 19.40
03/10/2004 27.00

In this case, the group displays records between 10/03/2004 and 10/09/2004

However, my groupheader needs to display the last day of the group as well, e.g.:

10/03/2004 - 10/09/2004

How can I get access to the last date in the group? Or how can I calculate the last date based on the first date?

Can you try this.

SELECT MAX(trnDate) 'Max Date',
       MIN(trnDate) 'Min Date',
  FROM summaries

As a query to your resultant query.

Hi Gokulan,

Thanks for this. However, I am afraid this won't work. I am reporting over, say, a period of a year, grouped by week. However, it's not guaranteed that for each week, all days have associated records.

This, for example, is what I need:

Week 10/10/2004 - 10/16/2004
10/10 200
10/11 300
10/15 400

Week 10/17/2004 - 10/23/2004
10/18 200
10/18 300
10/22 400


As you can see, the lower and upper bound of the reporting period may not always be present. This means I cannot select those dates in a query.
