Crystal Report: Wanted to eliminate space if data

I have selected the option âSuppress if Duplicatedâ for a database field. The scenario is, the duplicated data is suppressed where as the space remains same. Is there any option to eliminate / drill down the space?

What you need to do is right click on the subreport and then go to the last
tab named "subreport", click the suppress blank subreport box,set your
detail section to suppress on blank as well. Now if your subreport is blank
it will suppress and allow your details section to supress. hope that
helps, thats only good for version 9 and 10 though. earlier versions need
some magic.
