doubt in crystal report(help needed Urgently)

hai all

I am using Crystal report 7.But i dont know how to assign a table and to pass query to the report at run time.Can anybody tell me how to do it or help with sample codimgs.Currently i just connected with the table at design time and assign the values to the report.I dont want that Because i need to sort my table query b4 the report displays.
