Default conn.execute,command.execute or rs.open

i don't wont to set activecommand property,
so which one give the access to parameter collections?
since i read that rs.open uses activecommand property,
So i think the correct answer is command.execute??
Please guide me ?
Thanks in advance

Cheers :)
