Default custom/special field help(please)

I am trying to write a field which will sequentially increment
a report in crystal every time the report is saved, previewed, or printed, I don't care which, just something has to trigger the sequential numbering.
Anyone have any ideas how this field can be written from with crystal?

regards,
Roman
