Default Crystal Reprot without DSN

hi all

Is thr anyway to create external Crystal Report without using DSN?
i m using Crystal Reports 8.5 and SQL Server 2000.
i want to create the report externally and then import it in a VB6 project.

The short answer to this is no you can't. To enable crystal or any other software to access your database you need to create a dsn via your odbc.

The other way u may try is to build the data within a XML file in the local directory . If u re using Crystal Reports 9 u re free to do that I dont wheter other versions of Crystal Reports do support this .......

      ........ Try it once
