I have an application that uses crystal reports to give us information from a SQL database. The original reports are in version 8.5, I have copied the .rpt files from the server and want to use my crystal reports version 11 to run the reports separately from the application. I need to modify the reports a little bit. I have hit a wall where I cannot find correct tables to connect to. When I go to the database expert to set the table, the one in the original report is called apptanal and there is no match in the database. I'm stumped on how to proceed from here. If I could get to the SQL commands I think I could figure out the rest but the Database/Show SQL Query command is greyed out. I think it's because I don't have the right table set but this is at best a guess right now. I have not used crystal reports for a long time so I'm very rusty with it and when I was using it a lot I wasn't that much of an expert so it may take some hand holding to get me through this.
