Default Chart Problems

I'm having two problems with my Crystal Report XI charts:

1) I can't get the x-axis labels to be vertical (90 degrees), no matter how many times I set their orientation to 90, it always returns to 45!

2) When I have a combo (stacked bar and line) chart, if I have more than one line series, the 2nd, 3rd, etc. line series are plotted as cumulative upon the first line series. I'd like them to plot independently.

Default

for problem
1) In the preview mode, select the x-axis label, right-click and in the pop-up box select the "selected item" and set 90 degrees. Hope it helps. I guess the key is setting the orientation in the preview mode.
