Passing value from winform to crystal report

Dear All,
I have single value which I get from database query. Then I want this value to appear in my footer part of my crystal report. So I am wondering how can I pass this value. I am doing a winform project I know I got to pass something from crystal report viewer which I have drag over to my winform. This value is not a parameter value but I jsut want this value to be shown thats all no extra functionality on it.
