Compatibility CR 9.0 and Adobe Acrobat 4.0

We are using Crystal Reports 9.0 with Adobe Acrobat Pro 4.0.
Recently we are experiencing problems with the "obsolete" version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 4.0.

I have searched and asked around wich version of Adobe Acrobat Pro should be suitable to work with the Crystal Reports 9.0 version.
Until now I did not have any satisfactory answers.

I hope that someone can give me (any) information regarding this topic.
