Hi,
Although i found lots of link on net for this but none of them shows what if header size is getting from database?
i.e. say header is something from db, then width won't be fix so how can we devl scrollabel tables?

I also want to fix first column of the table.

Thansk for liks. but first link is not working.

further for second link.. everythig is great, but 1 simple prob is there.
if you look at example second, there are several subjects, viz english, german etc. now what i want is that all subject should come under a heading "subject" just like we do with colspan and rowspan, i tried with <td> tag but don't know how to do with <th> tag?

Is there any way to achive this with <th> tag, and getting <th> fixed?

Offcourse you can use colspan rowspan with <th>tag too.
Since I am unable to exact format of column ,its not possible for me to give the solution on the fly,Its better if you provide some html table display of ur requirement.I do think we can solve it.:)

The previous links do not work OK on all browsers.
