Default Flaw in Responsive Web Design

Hi, I am working on a website that requires to be responsive.

I did the page using media queries. The issue I face is that when i resize my browser (firefox), the website is working fine. But it is not working when I resize chrome. i.e. the resolution specific css files are not being detected.

Can anyone help me correct this issue?
