Default Nested template

Hello

I hope someone can help me this maybe something simple

I'm trying to create a nested template, I need a graphic on the left, on the right in the table I will be adding text and photos. I need the graphic on the left to stay in the same place, fine on the main template. On the nested template as soon I add into the table the graphic on the left moves down and the table expands. I have tried putting to tables side by side but I can't do this. Any solution to solve this problem??

I hope I have explained myself cleary

Thanks for your help in advance

Tony

I'll try again to expain things better, I've followed this tutorial on Nested templates

http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/kn...fm?id=tn_16282

2 tables one above it each other 1st from header etc 2nd for editing. I'd like to have a graphic on the left which can't be edited. I've tired adding another table but Dreamweaver won't allow me to have the tables on the same level side by side.

I created a table with a single row and 2 columns, placed the graphic in the left cell. I made a edit region of some text in the right cell and saved this as my main template. Next I created a page from the above template, I added in table and made it an edit region. When when making the table bigger the graphic on the left moves to the middle and the larger table defined in the main template expands.

Can someone tell me how to create a nested template where the graphic on the left stays at the top and I can add content into the right column using draw layout cell.

Many thanks

Tony

I think it's hard to understand what you're trying to accomplish without seeing some code.

Can you post the code for the page you're trying to create, preferably with links to some simple design mock ups so we can see what you're trying to do?

Cheers,

Imar
