I'm on chap 13 in the Dreamweaver MX 2004 book. I created a form to input data into the database, but whatever i type in the form i always get the below error. Eventhough I've tried to double check the data type on both the form and the database access table (Event table). Could you please advice ?

You didn't specify where in chapter 13 you were, so I am guessing here, but try something like this:

MM_editCmd.CommandText = MM_editQuery
Response.Write("Query is " & MM_editQuery)

' I have commented the next lines so the sql statement isn't executed
'MM_editCmd.Execute

MM_editCmd.ActiveConnection.Close

What does it say? How does your Sql statement look like?
