Default Help Please with Template issue

Hey all TIA for the advice.

Ok. I have a hefty page from an old site that has 30 or so text links, with hotspots on them with different behaviors on each hot spot(each opens a small browser window displaying a little text file. This page was done on a nested template. The whole site is messed up and I am redoing it, bu I don't want to tlose all that tedious work I did adding behaviors to each hotspot.
So here is the qquestion: Is there a way to break this page away from the template, so that it stands on its own? Or is there a way to copy and paste all those hotspots, with the behaviors as well? I have tried tto cut and paste them with no luck.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
I am running DW MX.

Hi there,

You have two options:

1. Choose Modify | Templates | Detach from Template
This detaches the page from the template and leaves an editable copy of the code added by the template.

2. Change the file manually outside Dreamweaver in Notepad or something like that, and manually remove any template related code.

Does this help??

Yes!Thanks!
I knew it was simple but man, that was simple. That's what you get for never reading the manual or taking a class :)
Thanks again.:D
