Im using the Beginning Dreamweaver MX book and I thought I had followed everything pretty well.

When trying to create the popup window and running it in IE6, I get a runtime error:

Line: 8
Error: 'Menu' is undefined

Please Help!

It sounds like you haven't uploaded the necessary .js file to the server. To do this, locate the file mm_menu.js on the Files panel in Local View, right-click it and the choose Put. This will send the page to your remote server, so it can be requested in the browser.

I had the same problem and can't get rid of it. I tried the solution given but that didn't work. I did have two mm_menu.js files. One inthe templates and one in the root. Put both but still get that error message but only on pages that were created with Album creator and then modified with a template.

Well, in that case, I think you should post some code. It's pretty hard to guess what the problem can be without seeing any code. Please post just the relevant portions, if you can figure them out.

Before you post the code, check the following:

1. On what pages is the .js file referenced?
2. How is this reference created and how does it look? (like /SomeSite/mm_menu.js or ../mm_menu.js for example)
3. Are you sure the mm_menu.js file is uploaded to the Remote Server in the correct directory??
