Default Templates

Hi

I am fairly new to Dreamweaver. I am creating a template which will have one editable region (the main body).

I have created an area which I want to use as a navigation bar. However, the default editable region covers the whole page. How can I edit the width so that it is only a third of the page (left navigation bar)?

I would insert a table with two columns and 1 row. In the left column I'd place my navigation stuff and I'd create an editable region in the right column for my content. I'm new too and I hope this helps.
