I am having a very diffcult problem getting the data from my xls to properly read. If a col. has both Numeric and Alph-Numeric data only the Numeric data is being read, the alph-numeric data is seen as a NULL, I even did a DTS in to a sql table and the alph-numeric data is coming back as Null. Any Idea as to what is happening??

I am having the exact same problem, have you been able to solve it?
