Default Changing colors of numbers - forumla wise?

Is it possible to change the font color on the spreadsheet itself via forumla (and not by VBA or some macro) - reason being, I did it using VBA and it works based on a calculate-event of the spreadsheet.
It would probably have to calculate and change the color at the same time in the same forumla, perhaps basing the color on the value of the percentage.

Reason being, if I change the color of the font directly on the spreadsheet, then cut and paste into lotus notes transfers the color also.

If I change it via VBA, it doesn't carry the color over in cut and paste unless I use Richtext or HTML - then that changes the font size or copies the ugly grid lines despite having them disabled in excel.. you see, I have traveled every road I know of before I stopped here to ask.

Please help, thanks.

Default

okay I found out about conditional formatting.. still, when I copy and paste into lotus notes, it loses the colors - pasting into word, it looks like excel with ugly grid lines..

ugh.. richtext also carries over the grid lines, can anyone help? I want to copy and paste percentages (colored - conditionally formatted) into Lotus Notes.

Thanks.
