Default drop down list

Hi

I have a column in which one of the cell entries is 'Contract Manufacture'. I want that when the user selects 'Contract Manufacture,' he shud be showed another drop - down displaying the locations, say a,b,c and d. How to do this?

Please help

I am not sure if you are asking how to put a drop down list directly into a cell.

If so, go to menu "Data" > "Validation" > "Allow" > "List". Then you basically point the list to a range of cells which contain the list of your contract manufaturer locations.

Excel help menu has a lot of details on how to do this if you type in data validation as your search.
