Default Excel dialog boxes problem

A strange problem is occuring with my Excel custom dialog boxes. When I run the form and reposition it with my mouse, a ghosting effect occurs in the background where the form is being redrawn and cascaded.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this?

one possible cause for this is when you turn off the screen updating. At this point any movement of forms will cause screen ghosting.

Better method is instead of turning off the updating is hide the app (application.viisble = false) and the ghosting will no longer be an issue.

My application is based entirely on a main user dialog box 'form' with various input fields and buttons that store/retrieve data in hidden worksheets.

Is your solution still applicable to this scenario?

Thanks

yes, the application will be hidden (excel, the workbooks) but the forms themselves will still be visible. So yes, would still be applicable.
