Hi. I'm currently doing a project on simulation using ProModel and i need to export the data files which are in (*.idb) format to Excel spreadsheets. The classical method is the normal "cut and paste", however i'm required to automate this export procedure using VBA. Are there any specific codes that is able to export the (*idb) format( or any other external database formats) to Excel by using VBA?

Really hope someone can help me in this.

Open up the .idb file in Notepad to see if it is actually in a format that Excel can recognise. Otherwise most applications will export to a more common format such as .txt/.csv/.dbf etc.
