Default How to coonect Excel to Oracle


Hello Guys,
               Is it possible to convert the data of
excel to oracle directly ( without using MS-access ) with
the correct datatype ?? I downloaded the oraxel from
www.oraxel.com but it is not working . Is there any other
way ???

Hoping good responses from u . Good responses would be
really appreciated.

It depends which end is driving and how automated you require it to be.

If you are driving from Excel then you can connect it as a standard DSN or DSN less datasource connection using VBA and then pump the file across. Or you can save the file as a CSV which Oracle will happily load.

Yes I need to pull oracle data into Excel:
The data source name= js
user name = hsons999
server = 192.166.105.20

Can you provide me with a sample code to help me start downloading data into excel.

Your help will be highly appreciated.
