Default Vacancy Age

Hello, I have a slight problem. I have a colum that lists when a certain piece of work came in so column d = confirmation date. Colum e is confirmation age and shows how long the piece of work has been on our books. What I want to work out is how I work out this with working days, as at the moment if the work came in on the 1st November it would show in column e 16 days. But really it should be 10 days as it has been 10 working days, can someone help!

Function CheckWorkDate(date1 As Date, date2 As Date) As Date
    date1 = date1 + 1
    If Weekday(date1) > 1 And Weekday(date1) < 7 Then iDays = iDays + 1
Loop Until date1 >= date2
CheckWorkDate = iDays
End Function
