Default Multiple version compatible of Excel automation?

Hi,

     I have customized MS EXCEL using with MS OFFICE 2003 DLL's,
  But it's not working with pervious versions,
  How can i do this? Which version i have to use for developing this.
  PLZ let me know the answer from you.?

If u have strated the Excel wit MS 2003 converting the .xls file may not be possible..

 U can try with MS Office Online help or try in the below web site
