I have a access database of the list of expenses for a particular port every time a ship calls there. And I have an excel sheet formatted to do some analysis based on those expenses. I am trying to link the 2 (excel sheet with access) inorder to automatically pull the required data from access and do the calculation in excel. I dont know how to dynamically create the SQL statement to run the query in access (do a query based on port name or agent name etc). I have tried MS Query but with little luck so far. I would appreaciate if someone could help.
