Can anyone tell me what can cause the highlight around a cell that is selected to not show? I have a workbook of sheets that are virtually identical, but one of the sheets is not showing the selected cell. I do have a lot of locked cells on the protected sheet, but the unselected cells are not highlighting. I have checked the protection to allow unlocked cells to be selected. The cells do actually select, but there just is no highlight to show they are selecte.

I solved my own problem. To position the cursor, I was erroneously selecting a locked cell on the sheet from VBE, even though the sheet was protected, before giving control to the sheet. Apparently you can do that without any error appearing. After doing that, the highlight on a selected cell was hidden until I unprotected the sheet manually. Thanks for looking anyway.
