Default Create backup folder & also backup files

Hi,
       I would like to create a backup folder to store a backup copy of all the files that i had selected to use for processing some other jobs.Can this be done via macro/VB script?How do i go about doing it?

Eg)if i run my job on 16/04/07, it should create a backup folder called 160407 and stores all the selected files in the backup folder.
