Default Sorting a column

I've made a vba macro file in which i am getting a compile error. I need a code to sort the column or a range of cells. The statement is as follows:-

Range("A1").SortSpecial SortOrder:=x1Ascending

Default

There is a problem in the above statement. You need l as in L not the number one:
SortOrder=xlAscending
