Default Cells

Hi,
I have learnt Access VBA but not Excel. I am about to start some AS Level coursework and (dont worry im not asking for scripts) wondered if i would be able to learn how to edit cells, add to cells etc. in a short amount of time and with out having to learn too much other stuff.

Thanks
 Matt
